We are city dwellers. We know buses, smog, apartments and elevators. Restaurants of all types, museums and malls, friends from all places.
Yet, we crave dirt, and open space, long walks and the smell of pine and smoke. We miss getting lost among the grass and having conversations with horses.
For a few precious weeks in the summer we get to watch the ever-changing light bounce off the valley walls and experience the magic that comes from spending every waking moment outside.
This place is in our bones, it rejuvenates our souls and gives us strength until we get to return the next time.
